A relaxing and restorative family retreat flanked by a large sauna and surrounded by lush forest. This floorplan design – ideal for humans and cats – experiments with ways of living which emphasize a sense of discovery and play: floating elements, suspended within a grid, includes a sunken built-in sofa with expansive views framed through strategic placement of windows. The space creates an interplay of light and shadow; modest finishes and a blacked exterior settle the architecture within the sublime darkened forest.
